ToDo
I decided to make the ToDo application based on input from other BFA class members and students who own iPhones or iPod Touches. There seemed to be a general consensus that there was no solution for an effective to do list in the native software. Not only that, as I talked to students I discovered that many users would have to open and close multiple applications to see their to do lists, alarms and calendar events. A task that should be simple and quick became tedious and left many people relying on other means to remind themselves of important meetings or their list of to-do’s for the day.
In this way, the application concept came about because of pure necessity. The task was just trying to figure out how to organize the different levels of information in a way that made sense, that was easy to navigate and that could be accessed with as few taps as possible. For the interface I decided on a tab method that allowed the user to toggle between different views of the same information easily and quickly.
